Kyle Craft leads a storied life. The Portland-based singer-songwriter trails with him a cast misfit characters and messed up relationships from his former home in Shreveport, Louisiana, to populate is his rollicking full-length debut, Dolls Of Highland. He also carries with him a sound with a past of its own, from the smoky bars and pool halls of the American South to the glam rock pioneers a continent away, and a future to look toward to, thanks to his epic voice. Recently, Kyle brought his full band to perform in KEXP's new studio. If whirlwind songs like of "Eye of a Hurricane" and "Pentecost" don't sweep you up, then there's no saving you.
